Crissy Angel
This tutorial is dedicated to my dear friend Susi.
Thank you for your kindness and generosity.
Tools you need:
My CriCrissyAngel psp-image, Susi's hair tube HERE
Thank you Susi for letting me use your tube.
This is made with PSP8. You can use PSP7.
This tutorial is only a guide on what you can do. Feel free to make
any changes you want. Remember to save often.
1. Open the Cri_CrissyAngel PSP-image. Shift-D to copy and close the original.
2. The selections are saved in Alpha Channel. The procedure to load
from Alpha Channel goes like this: Click Selections/Load/Save
Selection/Load selection from Alpha Channel. I do not repeat this.
Instead I will say only Load from Alpha Channel.
3. Click on the dress layer. Load from Alpha Channel 01-cri dress.
Floodfill with #C00000. Keep selected, Grab your Airbrush with
these settings #800000 Size 75, Hardness 7, Step 24, Density 100,
Thickness 100, Rotation 100, Opacity 24,
Hold the brush a bit from the edge and spray on the edges
(I learned this shading from Wendy)
4. Click on layer dress fur. Load from Alpha Channel 02-cri dressfur. Flood fill
with #FFFFFF Selections/Float, Effects/3DEffects/Cutout with these
settings H/V 0, Opacity 60 Blur 11,1 # 808080. Deselect.
Note! This is optional. Go to Eye Candy 3 and use jiggle Brownian Motion
Bubble Size 9, Wrap Amount 5, Twist 90.
5. Click on layer dress fur front. Load from Alpha Channel 03-cri dress fur front
Flood fill with #FFFFFF Selections/Float, Effects/3DEffect Cutout same
settings only change opacity to 80 and Blur to 5.94
Use the same EyeCandy3 settings as above
6. Click on layer inner sleeve. Load from Alpha Channel 04-cri inner sleeve.
Flood fill with #800000 and deselect.
7. Click on layer hand. Load from Alpha Channel 05-cri hand. Flood fill with
#FECBAE, keep selected and grab you Airbrush size 35 #C3622D and
shade the edges. Deselect.
Add a New Layer and with your pen tool Size 1 # C3622D draw some fingers.
Go to Blur/Gaussian Blur and hit 1. Load hand again Selections/Invert and hit
delete.
8. Click on sleeve layer. Load from Alpha Channel 06-cri sleeve. Flood fill with
#C00000, keep selected and grab your Airbrush same setting
only change the size to 55 and spray the edges on the sleeve.
9. Click on layer inner sleeve 1. Load from Alpha Channel 07-cri innersleeve1.
Flood fill with #800000 and deselct.
10. Click on layer hand1. Load from Alpha Channel 08-cri hand1 and flood fill
with #FECBAE, keep selected and with the Airbrush Size 35 #C3622D
spray the edges. Add a New Layer and with your pen tool Size 1 # C3622D draw some fingers.
Go to Blur/Gaussian Blur and hit 1. Load hand again Selections/Invert and hit
delete.
11. Click on layer sleeve1. Load from Alpha Channel 09-cri sleeve1. Flood fill
with #C00000. Keep selected and with Airbrush #800000 Size 55 and
spray the edges. Deselect
12. Click on layer backhair. Load from Alpha Channel 10-cri back hair.
Open Susi's hair tube and export to your picture tubes. To do that
Click File/Export/Picture Tube. I used size 60. Step 35. Random.
Click inside the marching ants and fill it all. Deselect.
13. Click on layer head. Load from Alpha Channel 10-crihead.
Flood fill with #FECBAE. Airbrush size 55 #C3622D and spray the edges.
Deselect. Do you remember to save?
14. Click on layer face. You are welcome to do your own face or you can use mine.
If you use mine open the cricrissy face image from the zip, copy and paste
as a new selection on the head. look at my picture above for placement.
15. Add a new layer. Name it cheeks. Use Airbrush size 25 #C00000 and click
once on both sides. Change the brush size to 10 and your color to #FFFFFF
and click on both sides once on the upper side of the red.
16. Click on front hair layer. Load from Alpha Channel 11-cri front hair. Use Susi's
hair tube again and fill in all. I used size 60.
17. Click on layer hairband. Load from Alpha Channel 13-cri hair band.
Flood fill with a gold fill of choice. I used a gold fill and Inner Bevel but you can
also use sculpture or if you have Blade Pro.
18. Click on fronthair1 layer. Load from Alpha Channel 15-cri fronthair1
Don't worry, there is no number 14, LOL
Now your basic Angel is done. On to decoration. Feel free to decorate her
any way you like. I did like this
I made a new layer on the top. I used a gold pattern and with the paintbrush
dotted some in her hair.
Then I made a new layer on top of dress layer and made dots all over her dress.
Did the same on both sleeves.
If you want her to hold something in her hands make a new layer beneath
the hand layers and use some tubes or a preset shape star as I did and you
are done.
