Welcome to my Easter Bunny Tutorial This tutorial was done in PSP8. You can use PSP7. You need the Alpha Channel Selections Image HERE Unzip to a folder of your choice. I used these colors but you are welcome to use any colors. The color palette is included in the zip. Open the crieaster_bunny pspimage, Shift+D to copy and close the original. The Selections are saved in Alpha Channel so you load them from there. Selections/Load/Save Selection/Load Selections from Alpha Channel. Make your Background color to #DBCFCF ( color #2) and your Foreground color to White #FFFFFF. ( color #1) 1. Load 01 tail. Flood fill with color #1. With your Airbrush Size 35, Hardness 7, Step 24, Density 100 Thickness 100, Rotation 0, Opacity 24. Spray to shade the edges. Use color # 2. Deselect. Go to Eye Candy Jiggle with these settings: Bubble Size 12, Warp Amount 9, Twist 70, Brownian Motion and Apply.
2. Load 02-backleg. Flood fill with color #2. With Airbrush Size 55 color #1 shade the edges. Deselect. Apply Jiggle.
3. Load 03-backhand. Flood fill with color #2. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #1. Deselect. Apply Jiggle.
4. Load 04-body. Flood fill with color #2, Shade with Airbrush Size 55 color #1. Deselect. Apply Jiggle.
5. Load 05-frontleg. Flood fill with color #2, Shade with Airbrush color #1. Deselect. Apply Jiggle.
6. Load 06-frontarm. Flood fill with color #2, Shade with Airbrush Size 35. Deselect. Apply Jiggle.
7. Load 07-bow. Flood fill with #5. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #6. Drop Shadow V/H 0, Opacity 50, Blur 3
8. Load 08-bowknot. Flood fill with #5. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #6. Drop Shadow V/H 0, Opacity 50, Blur 3
9. Load 09-head. Flood fill with color #2. Shade with Airbrush Size 55 color #1 Deselect. Apply Jiggle.
10. Load 10-eye. Selection/Expand 2, Flood fill with color #7. Selection/Modify/Contract by 1. Flood fill with color #1. Deselect.
11. Load 11-pupil. Flood fill with color #7. Add a new layer. Use Paintbrush, Size 3 and put a white dot in the eye. Gaussian Blur 0,50-1,0. Merge the eye layers. Duplicate and move the other eye in place.
12. Load 12-muzzle. Flood fill with color #2. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #1 Deselect. Apply Jiggle. Drop Shadow V/H 0 Opacity 50, Blur 6 color black.
13. Load 13-nose. Flood fill with color #7. Apply Inner Bevel Round but change the Angle to 0.
14. Load 14-teeth. Flood fill with color #7, Selections/Modify/Contract by 1 and Flood fill with color #1. Apply Drop Shadow, changing the Blur to 3. Add a new layer. Null your Background color. With your Pen Tool Size 1 draw a line in the middle. Apply Gaussian Blur 1.0
Make sure your Foreground still is #7 black, Background color null. Add a new Vector layer. Using your Pen Tool Size 1 Vector and Anti-alias checked draw a line down from the nose. Then draw a line from the middle to the right. Right click on the right node and choose Node Type/Symmetric. Grab the handle and pull it down to form the curve for the smile. Make an other one for the left side, When you are happy how it looks, Convert to Raster. Do the same thing for the top of the smile, and for a eyebrow.
15. Load 15-ear. Flood fill with color #2. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #1. Deselect. Apply the same Jiggle as before.
16. Load 16-innerear. Flood fill with color #5. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #6. Apply Jiggle.
17. I got mixed up with the hat, LOL so there is no number 17. Load 22-hat. It is the last Selection in Alpha Channel. Flood fill with color #3. Shade with Airbrush Size 55 color #4.
18. Load 18-hatband. Flood fill with color #4. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #3.
19. Load 19-brim. Flood fill with color #3. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #4.
20. Load 20-ear1. Flood fill with color #2. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #1. Deselect. Apply the same Jiggle.
21. Load 21-innerear1. Flood fill with color #5. Shade with Airbrush Size 35 color #6. Apply Jiggle.
22. Using your Pen Tool Vectors and Anti-alias checked Size 1 Line Segment make him some whiskers. Use color #7. Draw a line,Right Click on the right Node and Choose Node Type Symmetric, pull the left handle upwards to make the line curve. When happy with your whiskers Convert to Raster. Duplicate and Mirror. Move in place with your Mover Tool.
Now you are finished. To put something on his hat, add a new layer above the hatband layer.
